About the Role

This position involves working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support families in safeguarding their children. You will provide specialist mental health assessments and interventions for parents, enhancing engagement and outcomes for families.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct mental health needs and risk assessments.
  • Signpost service users to appropriate resources.
  • Consult on mental health issues within the team.
  • Engage service users with relevant adult mental health services.
  • Facilitate training and workshops on mental health topics.

Requirements

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience in mental health assessment and intervention.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work reflectively and compassionately.
  • Commitment to safeguarding children and families.
