About the Role
This position involves working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support families in safeguarding their children. You will provide specialist mental health assessments and interventions for parents, enhancing engagement and outcomes for families.
Responsibilities
- Conduct mental health needs and risk assessments.
- Signpost service users to appropriate resources.
- Consult on mental health issues within the team.
- Engage service users with relevant adult mental health services.
- Facilitate training and workshops on mental health topics.
Requirements
- Registered Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist.
- Experience in mental health assessment and intervention.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work reflectively and compassionately.
- Commitment to safeguarding children and families.
