About the Role

Located on the outskirts of the rural market town of Newent; about 10 miles north-west of Gloucester city, and with

magnificent 38-acre site and impressive sports facilities, Newent Community School and Sixth Form Centre are seeking to

appoint a Family Support worker with a proven track record. Newent Community School and Sixth Form Centre is an 11-18

comprehensive academy with c. 1050 students currently on roll. The Family Support Worker plays a vital role in promoting

regular school attendance and addressing barriers to education, particularly emotionally based school non-attendance

(EBSNA). Working closely with students, families, school staff, and external agencies, the role supports the wellbeing
