Family Support Worker - Fostering Team

About the Role

We are recruiting an experienced Family Support Worker to join a Local Authority Fostering Team in Darlington

This role will support children currently living with foster carers.

You will provide consistent, relationship-based one-to-one support, acting as the child's reliable "go-to" person when

foster carers are unavailable. This includes wrap-around support, early pick-ups, helping the child attend school,

supporting family time, and providing structured one-to-one sessions when they are out of education.

This is a small caseload role (less than 5 children), allowing you to provide intensive, high-quality support.
