About the Role

As a Family Support Worker at PACT, you will provide essential support and guidance to families visiting prisoners. Your role will involve facilitating visits, managing play services for children, and ensuring a welcoming environment in the visitor centre. This position is vital in helping families navigate the challenges of having a loved one in prison.

Responsibilities

• Support families during prison visits and family days.
• Facilitate play services for children in the visitor centre.
• Provide advice and guidance to families.
• Manage a demanding workload effectively.
• Contribute to the planning of family support initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience working with families in challenging environments.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
