  About the Role
As a Family Support Worker at PACT, you will provide essential support and guidance to families visiting prisoners. Your role will involve facilitating visits, managing play services for children, and ensuring a welcoming environment in the visitor centre. This position is vital in helping families navigate the challenges of having a loved one in prison.
Responsibilities
- Support families during prison visits and family days.
- Facilitate play services for children in the visitor centre.
- Provide advice and guidance to families.
- Manage a demanding workload effectively.
- Contribute to the planning of family support initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience working with families in challenging environments.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build partnerships with various agencies.
- Strong communication skills.
