Family Support Worker (XR03)
About the Role
The jobholder will carry continuing responsibility for planning, implementing, and evaluating programmes of practical
and emotional support for children, young people, and their families, under the supervision of the senior family support
worker and with support from the wider team. The post will be located on CHODU (childrens haematology and oncology day
unit) and ward L50 (specialising in liver and renal disease), both busy and highly specialised areas. The jobholder will
work closely with clinical teams and charity partners to ensure the best possible wrap around care is delivered to
families throughout their entire hospital journey. The successful candidate will contribute to exciting service
