Family Time Support Worker

About the Role

We are seeking compassionate Family Time Support Workers to join our team in Belfast. In this role, you will support families facing challenges by facilitating supervised contact sessions between children and their parents or relatives, ensuring a safe and positive environment. Flexibility is essential, as some sessions may occur during evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise family contact sessions per agreed plans.
• Provide transport for children and family members.
• Maintain accurate records and reports.
• Collaborate with social workers and professionals.
• Attend review meetings and court hearings as needed.
• Promote positive family relationships and empower parents.
• Uphold confidentiality and safeguarding responsibilities.

Requirements

• Minimum Level 2 qualification in relevant fields.
• NISCC registration or eligibility.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
• Experience working with children or families.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Confidence in managing urgent situations.

Compensation

The salary for this role is £13.57 per hour, with both full-time and part-time positions available.
