Fellowship in Upper Limb Surgery
About the Role
Outpatient clinics, both Elective and Trauma seeing a mixture of new and follow up patients under supervision of the
consultant and independently. A responsibility for coordination of the upper limb trauma service, liaising with the
consultants and trauma coordinators ensuring patients are appropriately prioritised and prepared for surgery Assisting
in operating theatres and conducting parallel operating lists when appropriate/commensurate with operating ability. The
time table will include 2-3 Operating lists and 2-3 clinics per week. Supervision and training of foundation doctors,
core trainees and middle grades in the day to day management of upper limb elective and emergent conditions. Daily
