Female Support Worker

About the Role

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be part of a dedicated support team, focusing on providing essential care in the client's home. This role is for 16 hours per week, with shifts scheduled between 08:00 and 23:00, Monday to Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and medication administration
• Support during prolonged myoclonus episodes
• Perform first aid and light housework/cooking
• Help with communication using the PODD system
• Provide companionship and ensure comfort

Requirements

• Female-only position per The Equality Act 2010
• Driver with a full UK driving licence, aged over 25
• Experience with learning disabilities is essential
• Compassionate, reliable, and committed to care
• Ability to adapt and use initiative

Compensation
