About the Role
Join the Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust as a Fitness Instructor, where you'll support vulnerable adults and young people in improving their mental and physical health. Responsibilities
- Manage referrals and provide gym inductions.
- Develop individualized fitness programs for patients.
- Conduct exercise sessions on wards and in the gym.
- Collaborate with clinical staff for patient care.
- Adapt activities to meet changing patient needs.
Requirements
- Level 2 fitness instructor certification (REPS recognized).
- Experience with vulnerable populations is desirable.
- Strong communication skills to motivate patients.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Understanding of fitness impacts on mental health.

Compensation
The Trust supports the Real Living Wage and applies pay supplements as needed. New entrants will start at the minimum scale.
Location & Schedule
This part-time position is based at the Old Chapel Gym, Countess of Chester Health Park, with a schedule of 23 hours per week.
