About the Role

Training for the post will be delivered in house, under supervision, and will consist of collecting blood samples by

invasive procedures, whilst adhering to protocols.

The post holder may also be required to undertake simple diagnostic tests with Point of Care equipment.

They will be involved in providing direct and indirect care for patients and supporting registered nurses as

appropriate.The post is a very rewarding, but demanding role, within an ever-changing environment which

requires a great deal of patience and initiative.
