Footcare Assistant

About the Role

Join Age UK Oxfordshire as a Footcare Assistant, where you'll provide essential toenail trimming services to older adults. This role is vital in helping clients maintain their independence and mobility. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided. Work flexible hours while making a meaningful impact in your community.

Responsibilities

• Provide Footcare Clinic services at weekly venues.
• Cut toenails and offer gentle foot rubs to clients over 50.
• Complete assessments for new clients.
• Maintain clear records in line with data protection.
• Signpost clients to additional services as needed.

Requirements

• Physical agility for maneuvering during sessions.
• Ability to treat clients with sensitivity and respect.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
• Good communication skills for client interaction.

Compensation

Salary is £12.30 per hour, with hours ranging from 18 to 28 per week.

Location & Schedule

Work is based in West Oxfordshire, with flexible scheduling over 3 to 4 days.
