About the Role

Main Duties and Responsibilities Clinical Responsibilities Provide safe, effective day-to-day medical care for patients

admitted to the Acute Medical Unit (AMU) and associated services. Undertake clerking, assessment, investigation,

diagnosis, and formulation of management plans under appropriate supervision. Monitor patient progress, review

investigation results, and escalate concerns promptly to senior medical staff. Participate in consultant-led ward rounds

and contribute to clinical decision-making. Prepare accurate, timely documentation including clinical notes, discharge

summaries, and electronic prescribing using EPIC. Ensure high standards of patient safety, dignity, confidentiality, and
