About the Role

To undertaken venepuncture of patients for whom a formal written or electronic request form has been issued. These will

be urgent, none routine samples. All non urgent requests should be booked through the phlebotomy clinics. To process

routine pathology samples using practice pathology authorised equipment and methods. To administer vaccines and

medications as per Patient Group Directors and protocols: Childhood Influenza HPV Pneumonia Holiday requirements

Nebuliser Therapy Others as authorised by a GP To offer advice on Health Promotion and Health Education: ECG monitoring

BP monitoring Healthy Lifestyle Physical Activity Smoking Alcohol intake Sexual Screening New Patient Medical
