Functional Assessor in City Of Bristol
About the Role
As a Functional Assessor, you will evaluate up to six clients daily through various methods, including paper, phone, video, or face-to-face. Your clinical observations will inform written reports for the Department of Work and Pensions, aiding in decisions on Personal Independent Payments and Employment Support Allowance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments for clients with diverse clinical issues.
- Create detailed reports based on clinical observations.
- Collaborate with the Department of Work and Pensions.
- Utilize various assessment methods effectively.
- Maintain professional registration and compliance.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Paramedic, or Physiotherapist.
- Minimum one year of patient-facing experience.
- Strong IT and typing skills (35 words per minute).
- Attention to detail and adaptability in communication.
- Full UK/EU driving license preferred.

Compensation
Salary ranges from £37,500 to £40,000 per year, plus a 10% annual bonus paid quarterly based on performance.
Location & Schedule
This role is based in Bristol with a hybrid working model. Schedule is Monday to Friday, with no weekend shifts.
