About the Role

Job overview The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAH) is looking to appoint a Locally Employed Doctor SHO (LED)

to work within our General Medicine department. Our General Medicine service covers care for a 31 bedded and 17 bedded

Medical Ward encompassing General Medical and Geriatrics and also Medical Outliers located on Surgical Wards (50% of

which are over the age of 75). This post gives the successful candidate an excellent opportunity to experience General

and Geriatric medicine in a busy DGH setting with daily Consultant supervision. This role is particularly ideal as a

stepping stone to gain experience prior to applying for training rotations such as ACCS or IMT. You will be expected to
