About the Role
Provision of general practice nursing services, care and advice in accordance with clinical based evidence, NICE and
local guidelines including, but not limited to: Chronic disease management including diabetes and asthma Cervical
screening Wound management including dressings Child and adult immunisations Well woman and well man clinics Travel
vaccinations Health screening and health promotion Child health/child protection ECGs, spirometry, requesting blood
tests, venepuncture Medication review to enhance patient compliance Infection control Chaperoning and assisting patients
and tidiness of nurses rooms Attend and participate in clinical and practice meetings when required Proactive in
