General Practitioner (RA)
About the Role
To support the provision of medical clinical input into the development of the Out of Hours Service. To contribute to
the development and dissemination of best practice. To work closely with all other support services in the provision of
urgent care services including Emergency Care Practitioners, 999 services and A&E, District Nurses, Palliative Care/
MacMillan Nurses, Intermediate Care, Community Wards, Social Services and Mental Health Services. To provide clinical
support to Healthcare Professionals as and when required. To undertake telephone triage, consultations within the
primary care centre and home visits. To initiate clinical assessment including patients presenting with undifferentiated
