GP Healthcare Assistant
About the Role
Provide and maintain a high standard of care for patients as well as providing assistance to the doctors and other
members of the primary healthcare team. The duties will include all tasks normally undertaken by an experienced HCA and
in addition any roles agreed between the nurse and the doctors as appropriate, having regard to current training.
Working knowledge of Systmone. Blood pressure (both 24 hour and onsite). Pulse rate and rhythm temperature checks.
Height and weight - body mass index , venepuncture, ECG's, wound care, administer some injections within skill set /
training levels including B12, Influenza, Pneumonia and Shingles vaccines. Ear Syringing, dressings (when nurse plan is
