About the Role

Job description Nursing duties Provide nursing care to patients as required in accordance with clinical based evidence,

NICE and local requirements Appraise wounds and other minor injuries, administer dressings; refer to a practice doctor

or the hospital as appropriate Take swabs, cervical smears Provide immunisations and injections to children and adults

Assist with Chronic Disease Management using the principles of MECC to maximise encounters and minimise patient visits

Take a lead in Respiratory chronic management Support the Nursing team in dealing with clinical emergencies Monitor the

blood pressure of patients and consider indications for referral back to the doctor Assist with ECGs and report the
