GP Salaried Part Time

About the Role

Hours of Work Full-time general practitioners will normally be contracted to work for 37 hours per working week

(contracted hours) such hours being divided into nine nominal sessions. Such sessions may be divided up into specific

working periods by mutual agreement. A part-time practitioner shall be remunerated on a pro rata basis to a full-time

practitioners salary. You are contracted to work five clinical sessions which will normally be of 4 hours duration.

Reference should be made to your Job Plan for the timing and content of these sessions, and any requirement to work

additional sessions or additional hours as needed. The timing may change subject to agreement and operational
