About the Role

NHS Tayside is seeking GPs with a Special Interest in Acute Medicine to join their team at Ninewells Hospital. This role involves urgent assessment and management of patients in the Ambulatory Assessment Area, with support from a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct urgent assessments of patients in acute settings.
  • Manage emergency cases in the Ambulatory Assessment Area.
  • Collaborate with GPSTs, IMTs, ANPs, and nursing staff.
  • Participate in teaching and clinical governance activities.
  • Engage in quality improvement projects.

Requirements

  • Must have completed MRCGP successfully.
  • Experience in Acute Medicine is desirable.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
