About the Role
NHS Tayside is seeking GPs with a Special Interest in Acute Medicine to join their team at Ninewells Hospital. This role involves urgent assessment and management of patients in the Ambulatory Assessment Area, with support from a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct urgent assessments of patients in acute settings.
- Manage emergency cases in the Ambulatory Assessment Area.
- Collaborate with GPSTs, IMTs, ANPs, and nursing staff.
- Participate in teaching and clinical governance activities.
- Engage in quality improvement projects.
Requirements
- Must have completed MRCGP successfully.
- Experience in Acute Medicine is desirable.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
