Gynaecology Staff Nurse

About the Role

Clinical Care Provide safe, evidencebased nursing care to patients on the Gynaecology Ward, including pre and

postoperative care, postanaesthetic monitoring, and management of acute gynaecological conditions. Assess, plan,

implement and evaluate individualised care plans, ensuring all care is delivered to a high professional standard.

Recognise, escalate and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition, using clinical judgement and Trust

protocols. Support patients undergoing elective surgery, assisting in pre-operative assessment, preparation, and

discharge planning. Deliver compassionate care to women presenting with emergency gynaecological problems such as
