About the Role
Clinical: To assess, plan, deliver and evaluate care for patients with haematological disorders in order to ensure that
high standards of evidence-based care are provided. To provide information, support, advice and specialist knowledge to
patients, their families and carers at all stages of the patients care pathway. This may be verbal and/or written. To
act as a point of contact for patients, their families and carers, by attending outpatient clinics, the day unit and
inpatient wards where necessary, and by other means of communication e.g. telephone and email. To act as the patients
advocate, especially when discussing treatment options and possible involvement in clinical trials, so that patients can
