Haematology Staff Nurse

About the Role

To deliver and maintain a high quality service to patients/carers and their families, ensuring effective working

relations are maintained throughout the team. This is a busy unit with high levels of acutely unwell patients. Your

dedication and enthusiasm is essential and in return the level of knowledge and experience you will gain will be

invaluable. Haematology is a nurse led unit to patient requiring venepuncture, cannulation. Administer chemotherapy,

blood transfusion, iron, Immunoglobulin, and Biphosphonate infusion, do venesection. Triage haematology patient with

open access and make a clinical decision.
