About the Role

There is an opportunity to join our Adult Inpatient wards across University Hospitals Dorset (UHD) as a HCSW, full time

or part time.

The role of the HCSW is to demonstrate care, compassion and UHD Values. The post holder will support the trained nurse

and other healthcare professionals in the delivery of the highest standard of patient centred care.

This role is a Band 3 and a recognised Care Certificate is required. If candidates do not hold one they will start as a

Band 2 and be support in achieving the care certificate and moving to the Band 3 within their probationary period.
