Services Location Cross-sites JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY Managerially accountable to the Clinical Director and professionally

accountable to the Director of Midwifery the Head of Midwifery has overall responsibility for the leadership and

management of nursing and midwifery across the Clinical Service Units (CSU). This includes the line management

responsibilities for Matrons within the CSU and the management of specific clinical services/areas. They are the named

and identified lead for specific issues relating to midwifery practice in the Trust and midwifery and nursing practice
