M1 is a medically optimised older adult ward providing care for patients who are clinically stable but require ongoing

nursing support, monitoring, and discharge planning. The ward has 30 core beds and supports up to 10 escalation beds

during periods of increased demand. M1 is not a rehabilitation ward; however, preventing de-conditioning and promoting

independence are key priorities within individual care plans.
