About the Role
This is a Grade 5, fixed-term position for one academic year, starting ASAP. The role requires full-time commitment of 35 hours per week, term time only, plus 5 Inset days.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to personalized care plans and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with external agencies for effective healthcare support.
- Develop documentation for managing healthcare support compliance.
- Lead the implementation of medical care documentation.
- Monitor compliance with school procedures related to medical care.
- Provide interventions for pupils with complex care needs.
- Undertake specialist training and competency assessments.
Requirements
- Experience in healthcare or education settings.
- Relevant healthcare/medical qualifications.
- Advanced numeracy and literacy level 3 or higher.
- Paediatric First Aid training/certification.
- Ability to communicate sensitively with children and adults.
- IT skills for documentation and compliance monitoring.

Compensation
The starting salary is £24,998, with a full-time equivalent of £29,064.
Location & Schedule
This position is based at Piper Hill Specialist Support School, working full-time during term time plus 5 Inset days.
