Health Care Assistant

About the Role

We are recruiting for a full-time (38.25 hours per week) Health Care Assistant to join St Luke’s Hospice. This is a

hands-on role providing compassionate, person-centred care across our services, working closely with registered nurses

and the wider multidisciplinary team to support patients and their families.

You will assist with personal care, observe and report changes in patients’ condition, support mealtimes and nutrition,

help with mobility and comfort, and contribute to a calm, dignified environment for people receiving hospice care. You

will also keep accurate records, follow infection prevention procedures and participate in team handovers and care
