Health Care Assistant / Trainee

About the Role

Key Responsibilities Include: Delivering patient-centred HCA services in line with practice protocols Performing vital

signs checks: BP, pulse, temperature, BMI, blood sugars Collecting and preparing pathology samples (e.g. venepuncture,

INR, urinalysis) Administering vaccines and injections (e.g. B12, flu, pneumonia, shingles) Conducting ECGs and

supporting chronic disease management Providing both Basic and Complex wound care, stitch removal Safeguarding adults

and children and responding appropriately to concerns Participating in audits and maintaining infection control and

stock levels
