Health Care Assistant - Vasectomy Procedures

About the Role

Prepare clinical rooms and ensure all equipment is sterile, set up, and ready for procedures. Welcome patients, provide

reassurance, and assist with pre-procedure checks. Act as a chaperone during consultations and procedures where

required. Provide clear aftercare advice and support to patients following their procedure. Assist the clinician during

vasectomy procedures, including stock management, instrument handling, and documentation. Maintain high standards of

infection prevention and control. Complete relevant administrative tasks including data entry, stock ordering, and

updating patient records.
