About the Role

Blood taking Blood pressure checks Height, weight, BMI ECGs Spirometry (preferred but not essential) B12 injections Flu

immunisations. Diabetic checks including foot check * INR check using point of care INR machine (training can be given)

- home visits for INR also. BLS training. assist Clinicians where needed. Proactively assist with QOF achievements.

Co-ordinating recalls Assist with stock checks, equipment check and ordering Communication Communicate effectively with

patients and carers, recognising the need for alternative methods of communication to overcome different levels of

understanding, cultural background and preferred ways of communicating Maintain effective communication within the
