About the Role

Healthcare Assistant Core Responsibilities The Healthcare Assistant will primarily support clinical and administrative

services within the practice. While the role has defined core responsibilities, occasional additional duties may be

required depending on workload and staffing levels. Clinical Support: Support the practice nurse in health promotion

programmes. Perform baseline observations, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and oxygen saturation,

recording findings accurately. Undertake wound care, dressings, and other clinical tasks as required. Assist the

practice nurse in the management of chronic disease clinics. Conduct BMI checks as directed. Act as a chaperone when
