About the Role

Fairfield General Hospital is recruiting to a new and developing In-Patient Discharge Unit

If you are motivated, enthusiastic, and passionate about providing patient centred care, then ward 24 is for you. We are

a 24 bedded discharge unit, with a seated area for discharge lounge patients on the day. We are dedicated to getting

people home by focusing on preventing deconditioning and reducing the number of days patients are kept away from home.

We provide individualised discharge planning. Our ward ethos is to get people out of bed, washed, dressed and ready for

the day. We engage in ward-based activities, such as arts & crafts, playing cards, painting nails, taking patients for a
