The Families First for Children Pathfinder (FFP) was announced in February 2023 as part of the government’s children’s
social care implementation strategy, Stable homes, built on love. In March 2025, theFamilies First Partnership Programme
Guidewas published outlining the delivery expectations for safeguarding partners in England in the implementation of
family help, multiagency child protection reforms and making greater use of family group decision making. Health is a
key partner in the implementation of this reform and therefore the post holder will play a pivotal role in driving this
