About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for full and part time Healthcare Assistants to join the team in Acute Medicine at

The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. The positions are based on the Acute Medical Unit (AMU) and the Acute Medical Assessment

Unit (AAU). AMU and AAU are fast-paced environments, in which patients are assessed and treated for a variety of medical

conditions before being sent home or on to a specialist ward. We are looking for caring, compassionate individuals who

have strong communication and observation skills to deliver excellent patient-focused care in a challenging environment.

We will complete a comprehensive induction programme that will fully prepare you for the role and you will be working in
