Health Care Assistant Key Responsibilities and Duties 1. Working Within Scope and Supervision Operate as part of a
multidisciplinary team, carrying out delegated duties under the supervision of a registered healthcare professional.
Always act within the boundaries of your training, competence, and Trust guidelines. Seek guidance or support from
senior staff when unsure or when patient needs exceed your role. 2. Delivery of Compassionate, Person-Centred Care
Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, carers, and colleagues using appropriate techniques
including empathy, tact, reassurance, and persuasion. Maintain confidentiality and dignity at all times, upholding Trust
