Healthcare Assistant / Receptionist - Sexual Health
About the Role
To accompany patients where clinical support is indicated. To chaperone patients as required. Taking and recording and
monitoring of patient observations to include, blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturations, temperature and respirations.
This includes accurate calculation and recording of NEWS 2 (early warning score) and escalation to registered staff as
indicated by score. Blood Glucose Monitoring. Undertake asymptomatic sexual health screening as directed by the CNS. To
work within the phlebotomy service when required. To respond to patient requests for non-clinical information. To
respond appropriately to clinical emergencies. To cover reception duties and book appointments as appropriate. To answer
