About the Role
JOB DESCRIPTION HEALTH CARE ASSISTANT RESPONSIBLE TO Clinically to a Senior Nurse (Michelle) Administratively to Nurse
Administrator (Alison Jervis) MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POST To assist with the provision of nursing services to patients
attending the practice and assisting the nurses and GPs in the provision of general and specialist medical services.
Special note: HCAs will not interpret results and will only carry out work to protocols. To ensure the day-to day
activities of the practice are carried out accordingly. Liaison with other members of the Primary Health Care team in
order to provide continuity and effective desired overall care of Practice patients. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
