About the Role

The Healthcare Support Worker will offer nursing, phlebotomy, administrative and general clinical assistance to the

Sexual Health & HIV team.

The HSW will liaise closely with and report directly to the Lead Nurses for Sexual Health. The HSW will work under the

direct supervision of a first level registered nurse with guidelines and protocols.

1. Knowledge of HIV1. To have an appropriate knowledge of HIV, and the treatment and management of this condition.

2. To promote a sensitive and caring approach to patient, visitors and colleagues.
