Healthcare Support Worker P/T- Endoscopy

About the Role

To communicate positively and tactfully with patients, their relatives, carers, and visitors. Assist the Consultant

Endoscopist while under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. Prepare the appropriate equipment prior to the start of a

list, which may include wheelchairs, trolleys, endoscopy accessories and undertaking the appropriate checks to ensure

the equipment is clean and used safely. Assist the Endoscopy team in ensuring correct equipment and accessories are

stocked in procedure rooms at the beginning of the list. To help with admission and pre assessment of patients for

endoscopy procedure. Patient Monitoring - spend time with patients, ensuring they are continually monitored while in
