HGV Class C Driver & Support Worker Mobile Cancer Care Unit
About the Role
As driver your working day will begin with a series of vehicle safety checks to ensure that the mobile chemotherapy unit
is safe and ready for the working day. As part of the daily checks you will be required to check that the required
equipment and supplies are on board and that trollies are re-stocked before driving the vehicle to its treatment
location. On arrival at treatment location you will meet your nursing colleagues, greet the patients and support them in
accessing the unit using steps or stair lift as necessary. On board the unit you will book the patient as attended on
the booking system, provide refreshments for the patients, ensuring that they feel cared for and comfortable. As the
