Highly Specialist Deputy Pharmacist - Aseptic Services
About the Role
Act as a highly specialised deputy for the Aseptic Services Manager in the provision of professional supervision for all
activities related to aseptic dispensing and batch manufacturing to ensure the safe, effective and efficient use of
medicines within available resources. This includes provision of cytotoxics, parenteral nutrition and CIVA services.
Undertake final product checking and release of aseptically prepared products prepared under Section 10 (Medicines Act
1968) and potentially in the future under an MHRA Specials licence. Provide technical and clinical information to
medical and nursing staff and other health care professionals and advise patients on the best use of their medicines.
