Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist - Community Stroke
About the Role
Job Purpose To provide specialist speech and language therapy input into a multidisciplinary, client focused therapy
service for adultswith who have a stroke diagnosis within their own homes or other community settings. The post holder
will have specialistknowledge of adult neurology and sound knowledge of community environments. To undertake advanced
assessment, differential diagnosis and treatment of clients with a wide range of speech and languageimpairments and
swallowing disorders arising from neurological conditions. These clients may have a complex or multiplepathologies. To
determine the speech and language therapy treatment indicated and to maintain records, as an autonomous practitioner. To
