Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist - Deafness
About the Role
Job Purpose: The post is commissioned by Luton Borough Council to provide Specialist Speech and Language Therapy
intervention and support to deaf children and young people who are attending primary and secondary school age specialist
deaf provisions and those who are on the peripatetic caseload of the Deaf Children and Young People Service. You will:
Provide Speech and Language Therapy at a highly specialist level, within the area of deafness, functioning in
partnership with other agencies and disciplines to support in theholistic assessment, diagnosis and intervention for
children and young people known to theservice. You will demonstrate clinical leadership in deafness and represent the
