About the Role

We are looking to recruit a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT) to work within the Community Learning

Disability Team in St Helens. The post holder will provide support to service users within the borough of St Helens and

Knowsley and be based at Willis House in Prescot.

The role of the highly specialist speech and language therapist consists of supporting people with learning disabilities

who have complex communication needs, management of dysphagia, management of waiting lists , providing effective

clinical supervision and support for junior practitioners, and working as part of a well established multi-disciplinary
