Horticultural Nursery Worker

About the Role

Only people eligible to work in the UK can apply. General horticultural nursery work. Will include jobs such as tying of

plants to canes, labeling plants, potting, weeding, etc. You will need to be dexterous and quick for many of these jobs.

Also involves some work low to the ground, which will require working on your knees or bent over, so you must be

physically capable, and able to work at speed. About 50% of the work is inside glasshouses, and 50% outside. You will be

required to lift and move plants (approx.15kg), and must be physically capable to do this all day. Guaranteed a minimum

of 32 hours per week, with an average of 39 hours. The amount of work available varies with orders and weather etc., and
