Hospital Liaison and Clinic Nurse

About the Role

To contribute to the provision and facilitation of a range of interventions focusing on managing individuals recovery

capital and increasing their chances of achieving and sustaining abstinence. This will include psychosocial

interventions, clinical interventions commensurate with the grade and under the supervision of Senior Nurses, provision

of substitute medication where appropriate, support to access mutual aid and peer support networks, support to develop

positive community relationships and support to access other services both substance misuse specific (e.g. rehab and

community programmes) and mainstream (e.g. housing, employment, education and training.)
