Housing Project Support Worker

About the Role

This role as a Housing Project Support Worker involves supporting refugees and asylum seekers at risk of homelessness. You will manage housing properties, ensuring they are safe and welcoming while assisting residents with tenancy-related needs and resolving housing issues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate maintenance
• Support residents with housing-related issues and community living
• Manage safety standards, utilities, furnishings, and cleanliness
• Liaise with contractors, landlords, and other stakeholders
• Facilitate smooth transitions for new residents, including viewings

Requirements

• Highly organized with excellent communication skills
• Empathetic and proactive with a hands-on approach
• Experience in housing or working with vulnerable groups is desirable

Compensation

Salary is £13,814 for 18.5 hours, with potential for increased hours.

Location & Schedule

Position based in Leeds & Bradford, includes weekend on-call rota.
