About the Role

Join Pobl Group as a Scheme Support Officer, providing vital support to individuals and families facing homelessness. In this part-time, permanent role, you will empower clients to develop essential skills for independent living, ensuring a positive environment and facilitating their progression towards stability.

Responsibilities

• Connect with 22 clients and their families.
• Respond to incidents with on-call Manager support.
• Update records and capture conversations.
• Maintain a positive living environment for clients.
• Complete requests from the scheme’s Manager.
• Liaise with emergency services and duty team.
• Perform cleaning tasks for efficient room turnovers.

Requirements

• Experience in support work or similar roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle challenging situations calmly.
• Flexibility to work waking nights and occasional days.
• Commitment to promoting client independence.

Compensation

The salary for this role is £19,890.00 per year, based on a 30-hour workweek, equating to £12.75 per hour.

Location & Schedule

This position is based in Tredegar, Blaenau Gwent, primarily working waking nights with some flexibility for day shifts.
